What is the Pro Fitness ProgramTM?

The Pro Fitness Program is one of the most recognized and respected fitness programs in North America and we are excited to be the 4th club in the state to offer this program. The program has been developed over 25 years and has transformed the lives of thousands of health club members throughout the US and Canada. Instead of focusing on giving members access to space and equipment, the Pro-Fitness Program offers exactly what is needed for them to reach their goals: education, accountability and results!

How does the program work?

After enrollment members are given a comprehensive 90 minute fitness consultation and then based on their specific goals, are presented with a personalized course of action. Members are reassessed three more times over the course of the year to ensure the course of action they are following is progressing them towards those desired results and eliminating any guess work as to how the member is progressing. The reassessments scheduled the first year virtually guarantee the member’s success!

Why is WILDCAT implementing this program?

Clubs typically give their members a complimentary fitness orientation then set them free to “fend” for themselves. This type of system rarely works and has a 95% failure rate. Members try their best to follow a generic program, but quickly become frustrated by lack of progress and stop coming to the club. We were really no different than any other club and wanted to offer a solution to this problem. We want our members to be successful!

What type of individual benefits from the Program?

One of the greatest aspects of this program is that it has been designed to benefit everyone from seasoned athletes to deconditioned seniors and everyone in between, including faithful exercisers, weekend warriors and beginners.

About the Fitness Consultation:

The Fitness Consultation is a series of four, 90-minute, one-on-one appointments with one of our professionally-trained Pro Fitness ProgramTM Fitness Consultants. The goal, from the very start of your member experience, is to assess your current fitness and determine, based on your individual goals, how to progress you towards those goals. Your current fitness “is what it is”, so the focus is on making improvements going forward.

The 90 minute consultation includes: a health and history screening; a complete fitness assessment; and a periodized prescription. Some of the assessments include the following:

  • In-depth screening to ensure members are safe to exercise
  • A cardio-vascular assessment to evaluate how efficiently the heart and lungs function during exercise
  • A body composition analysis
  • Flexibility and strength limitation assessment
  • Measurement of blood pressure and resting heart rate
  • Muscular endurance assessments

After the Fitness Consultation:

Once the fitness consultation has been completed, our Fitness Consultant will have all the necessary data to prescribe a personalized course of action that will lead you to success. This course of action may involve working with one of our trainers, altering your current exercise program (if applicable) or a combination of things. We analyze the data together and decide how to proceed with your best interest in mind!
