As a personal trainer in the UK and United States for the past ten years, I have come to find that personal training is a team effort between you and I. I want to dedicate my passion and drive for personal fitness into helping you achieve your health and fitness goals. If your bored with your routine or want to be challenged, I can help you with fun, result driven routines, specifically designed for you.
I’ve been involved with health and fitness for twenty years. Over the past four years I worked hard to pursue my personal trainer certification. My training approach is to discuss the needs and goals of the client, and to design and customize a personal program for each individual. My expertise promotes a strong core in a lean mass philosophy.
My training programs incorporate free weights, self body movements as well as stationary weight machines and cardio. I enjoy working with all ages and body types, whether it be bodybuilding, weight loss, or just keeping fit and trim. I keep workouts fresh and challenging with workout routines that incorporate new moves and ideas. I am also a wellness coach trained to help clients make good nutritional choices for optimal health. I look forward to training with all the new and existing wildcat members.
I first realized I wanted to be trainer around January 2009. I was a Child Development Center teacher in charge of the gym and outdoor areas, but regularly went to the gym. My co-teachers started asking me questions about fitness and health; and if they could workout with me after work. I realized I wanted to be a personal trainer when I saw a friend and co-teacher do a full body-weight pull-up on her own. She was so happy she cried.
My clients have had goals that varied; from general fat loss to functional strength, flexibility, body-building, agility, etc… I have, and can, work around most physical and health limitations. I also have a specialty certification in Fitness Nutrition. I can give general advice in eating habits and when it’s best to eat what types of food and general caloric needs from an educated, experienced and professional perspective.
There was never a period in my life I did not do some form of exercise. I love working out. I was a runner for years. I grew up playing tennis, running; biking and I enjoy a multitude of fitness styles. I love body weight exercises, circuit training, and sports training.
I love changing up my sessions as I love varied and challenging programs. Fitness should be a fun platform first which will naturally help you improve your health and well-being. Assisting others along a healthy path in life and seeing them thrive is what drives me to continue to train others!
